Classic Pesto Sauce Recipe

This is an
authentic Italian pesto sauce recipe. To make it in the traditional
way, use a mortar and pestle.

Fresh Basil Leaves
tbsp Pine Nuts
freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
Place the basil, pine nuts and garlic in a food processor and
process until finely chopped and well mixed.
2. With the machine still running, gradually add the olive oil and
continue to process until the pesto is almost smooth.
3. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the cheese until well mixed. Cover
and refrigerate until ready to use.
Serve as it is over vegetables
