50g/2oz Lard or
1 Onion, finely

Heat the lard in a frying pan, add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring
from time to time. until soft and golden brown.
2. Add the oats, salt and pepper, mix well and continue to
cook over a medium heat for about 10 minutes.
Add the butter, salt, pepper and nutmeg and beat with a wooden spoon. Serve the
sprinkled with parsley.
