All recipes serve 2 unless
otherwise stated and take 30-60 seconds’ blending – starting on low and
increasing to high.
If using frozen fruit omit the
ice cubes. You can substitute plain ice cubes with the same quantity of
frozen base liquid to give a fuller flavour
Where possible, chill the base

or vegetable constitutes one of your 5-a-day go to:-

Each portion supplies 1 of your recommended 5-a-day
6-8 Apricots, stoned and quartered
300ml/10fl.oz. Natural Yogurt
2-3 drops Vanilla extract
6 Ice Cubes, cracked
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Apricot and Apple Smoothie
Each portion supplies 1.5 of your recommended 5-a-day
1 Apple, cored and chopped
120ml/4fl.oz. Apple Juice
6 Apricots, stoned and quartered
240ml/8fl.oz. Natural Yoghurt
4 Ice Cubes, cracked
1 Tbsp Honey
Place the apple and apple juice in the blender and pulse until finely chopped.
Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
