Barbecued Apple Rings

Serves 4 Hot Vegetarian Fruit Spices Barbecues Desserts Gluten Wheat free Eggless
Ingredients 4 Large Apples Melted Butter 1 teasp Mixed Spice 1tbsp Sugar
Instructions
1. Cut the apples into 12mm/½-inch thick slices. Do not remove the cores.
2. Brush both sides with plenty of melted butter then place on the grill and cook over medium barbecue coals for 3-5 minutes.
3. Sprinkle the top sides of the apples evenly with the mixed spice then turn them over, sprinkle the tops with sugar and continue to cook for a further 3-5 minutes until tender.
