Potato Cheese Patties
Veg HT BBQ ACC 20mins plus chilling
Barbecue Gluten Wheat Free
450g/1lb Potatoes, boiled and mashed
100g/4oz Cheese e.g. Feta, Grated Cheddar
4 Spring Onions, chopped
2 tbsp Freshly Chopped Dill
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1. Place all the ingredients apart from the oil in a large mixing bowl and
mix until well blended then cover and chill until firm.
2. Once chilled, divide the mixture into small balls about the size of a
golf ball then flatten each slightly to form discs about 1cm/½-inch thick.
3. Brush with oil then place oiled side down on the grill and cook over medium
barbecue coals for 3-4 minutes until browned.
4. Brush the tops with a little more oil then turn and continue cooking for
a further 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.

apart place the potato discs in a hinged wire
basket to prevent them falling through the grill
onto the coals
