Barbecued Mullet with Thyme HT BBQ MC 20mins
Serves 4 Hot Barbecue Fish Herbs Healthy Eating Main Course Gluten Wheat Dairy Free Eggless
Ingredients 4 Red Mullet, cleaned and gutted 2 tbsp Olive Oil 1 tbsp Lime Juice 1 tbsp Freshly Chopped Thyme leaves 8 whole sprigs of Thyme Salt and Pepper
Instructions
1. In a small bowl mix together the olive oil, lime juice, chopped thyme,
salt and pepper until well blended.
2. Make 2 or 3 diagonal cuts
in each side of the fish and place two sprigs of thyme in the cavity of each
then brush liberally with the olive oil mixture working the oil into the
cuts.
3. Grill over hot coals 15 -20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the
fish, turning once and basting with the remaining olive oil mixture. Serve
immediately.
