Puff Pastry Instructions
1.
Preheat the oven to 220C, 425F, Gas Mark 7 2.
On a floured work surface, roll out the pastry and cut into 4 18 cm/7 inch
circles.
You can use a saucepan lid as a template. 3.
In a bowl, mix together the Lancashire cheese, apple and sage until well
blended. 4.
Divide this mixture between each pastry circle, brush the edges of each circle
with beaten egg, fold in half and seal to form a pasty. 5.
Prick the pastry with a fork then brush the surface with
beaten egg. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until
risen and golden brown. Allow to cool on wire racks. Can be eaten hot. |
