Picnic Meat Loaf CD PIC 65mins plus cooling

Ingredients 225g/8oz Minced Beef 350g/12oz Minced Pork 4 tbsp White Breadcrumbs 1 teasp Dried Thyme 1 teasp Dried Parsley 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 tbsp Tomato Paste 1 Onion, finely chopped 1 Garlic Clove, crushed Salt and Pepper 1 Egg, beaten Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas mark 4 and grease a 1kg/2.2lb
loaf tin.
2. Place all the ingredients, apart from the egg, in a large bowl and mix
well. Add enough egg to bind the mixture.
3. Turn the mixture into the prepared loaf tin, pressing it down well.
Cover with aluminium foil and bake in the oven for 1 hour until firm.
4. Remove from the oven and stand for 5 minutes then pour off any excess fat. Allow the loaf to cool in the tin then refrigerate until ready to serve.
