Sweet Rum Sauce  Veg  HT  BBQ ACC  DP   20mins

Ingredients

100g/4oz Caster Sugar

300ml/10fl.oz. Water

6 tbsp White Rum

The grated rind and juice of 1 Orange

4 tbsp Clear Honey

 

Instructions

 

1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and slowly bring to simmering point, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves.

 

2.  Bring to the boil, then boil rapidly for 15 minutes.

    

Use as a dipping sauce for barbecued fruit.
