Tuna Teriyaki    

HT  BBQ  MC  15mins plus marinating



Serves 4     Hot  Fish   Alcohol   Main Course Barbecues   Dairy free  Eggless



4  Tuna Steaks about 2cm/ 3/4   inch thick

Olive Oil to baste

For the Marinade

1 Garlic Clove, crushed

1 tbsp Freshly Grated Ginger

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tbsp Dry Sherry




1.  In a shallow dish combine the marinade ingredients together and mix until well blended. Add the tuna and turn to coat well. Cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. 


2. Remove the tuna from the marinade and pat dry with kitchen paper. Discard the marinade.


3. Brush both sides of the tuna with oil then cook over hot coals for 3 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.  Serve immediately.
