Cheesy Meatloaf      HT   MC    70mins

 

Serves 4 6       Hot    Beef    Main Course

   

Ingredients

675g/ 1   lb Minced Beef

120ml/4fl.oz. Tomato Sauce (ketchup)
50g/2oz Dry Bread Crumbs
50g/2oz Cheddar Cheese, diced
Salt and Black Pepper
50g/2oz Onions, chopped

1 Egg, lightly beaten

Instructions

 

1.  Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4  and grease a 900ml/1 pt loaf tin and line it with greaseproof paper.

 

2. Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl until well blended. Shape into the loaf tin and bake for 1 hour.

 

3. To serve -  loosen the sides of the loaf and remove from the tin. Transfer to a serving platter and slice thickly. Serve with a home made tomato sauce.
