Hot Cold Vegetarian Rolls Breads Baked Fayre Ingredients
2. Place half the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl then add the milk mixture and egg and mix well.
3. Stir in the remaining flour, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well between each addition.
4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface, and knead for about 8 minutes
until smooth and elastic.
5. Divide dough into 8 equal portions, shape each portion into smooth balls,
then place on a greased baking sheet, flatten slightly, cover with a damp tea
towel and leave to rise for about 30 minutes. 6. Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F, gas Mark 6 then bake the rolls for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
