Makes approx 24   Vegetarian  Cold  Biscuits Cookies Baked Fayre teatime England British Europe

Ingredients
225g/8oz Clotted Cream
1 Egg
A little Milk
450g/1lb Plain Flour
225g/8oz Sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6 and line 2-3 baking trays with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, rub the cream into the flour. 

3. Add the beaten egg and  sugar to and mix  to form a smooth dough, adding a little milk if necessary. 

4. Turn onto a floured surface, roll out very thinly and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter. Transfer to the baking trays, sprinkle with a little sugar and bake for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown. Wool on wire racks.
