Almond Cake Veg CD CBF 70mins
Makes 1 20cm/8-inch cake Cold Vegetarian Nuts Cakes Baked Fayre
Ingredients: 175g/6oz Ground Almonds The grated rind of 1 Lemon 2 Eggs, beaten 175g/6oz Butter 175g/6oz Plain Flour 175g/6oz Sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 170C, 325F, Gas mark 3 and butter a 20cm/8 inch cake tin. 2. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Spread the mixture into the tin and level with a palette knife.
3. Bake in the oven for 1 hour until golden. Cool on a wire rack.
