Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 170C, 325F, Gas mark 3 and
grease a 20cm/8 inch cake tin with a little butter.
2.
Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well with a wooden
spoon or an electric whisk until the mixture is well blended.
3.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared cake tin and level with a palette knife.
4.
Bake in the
oven for 1 hour until risen and golden. Cool on a wire rack.
