Butter BiscuitsVeg CD CBF 40minsMakes approx. 20 biscuits Cold Vegetarian Alcohol Cookies teatime Baked Fayre Ingredients: 100g/4oz Butter 25g/1oz Caster Sugar 3 tbsp Sweet Sherry 200g/7oz Plain Flour Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas mark 4 and lightly grease 2-3 baking sheets. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until pale and smooth, gradually adding the sherry a little at a time. 2. Add the flour a spoonful at a time, stirring between each addition.
3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll out to 1cm/1/2inch thickness then cut into rounds with a cutter, transfer to the baking sheets and bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
