Chocolate and Hazelnut Chip Cookies Veg CD CBF N American 35mins Makes approx. 36 biscuits Cold Vegetarian Nuts Baked Fayre North AmericaIngredients: 75g/3oz Butter 100g/4oz Brown Sugar 50g/2oz Sugar 1 Egg, beaten 150g/5oz Plain Flour 1/4 teasp Salt 1/2 teasp Bicarbonate of Soda 1/2 teasp Vanilla Essence 75g/3oz Chocolate Chips 75g/2oz Hazelnuts, chopped Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, Gas mark 5. Do not bother to grease the baking sheets. 2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until smooth. Sift together the flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda, add to the creamed mixture together with the vanilla essence and eggs. Mix well. Add the chocolate chips and nuts and mix to thoroughly distribute. 3. Drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking sheets, spacing well apart then bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
