Cinnamon Biscuits   Veg  CD  E. European  30mins

Makes 36 small biscuits     Cold  Vegetarian  Alcohol  Cookies   Baked Fayre Eastern Europe

Ingredients:

1/2 teasp Ground Cinnamon

250g/9oz Plain Flour

125g/5oz Icing Sugar

125g/5oz Butter, diced and softened

1 tbsp Milk

1 Small Egg

2 tbsp White Wine

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, Gas mark 5 and lightly grease 2-3 baking trays. Place the flour, icing sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, add the butter, milk, egg and wine and mix well.

2. Turn onto a floured surface and knead to a smooth dough. Roll out to 5mm/1/4 inch thickness and cut into small triangles.

3. Transfer to the baking trays and bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden.  Cool on a wire tray.
