Hot Water Crust Pastry CD CBF 10mins Makes approx. 300g/ 11oz Cold Pastry Baked Fayre Dairy free Ingredients: 225g/8oz Plain Flour 1 Egg Yolk 1 teasp Salt 75g/3oz Lard 60ml/2fl.oz. WaterInstructions 1. Place the flour and salt in a large bowl and mix well. Make a well in the centre and add the egg yolk. 2. Place the lard and water in a saucepan and heat until the lard melts. Add to the bowl of flour and mix well to form a smooth soft dough. Knead lightly and and use as required making sure you keep it covered in between .
