Almond Pudding with Dates Veg HT Chinese DP

Hot Vegetarian Chi Dessert
Pudding Eggless China Asia Asian
Ingredients 50g/2oz Sweet rice flour 3 tbsp Ground Almonds 120ml/4fl.oz. Cold Water 900ml/30fl.oz. Cold Milk 50g/2oz Granulated sugar 50g/2oz Stoned Dates, sliced
Instructions
1. In a
bowl, mix together the rice flour
and ground almonds adding the cold
water a little at a time to make a thick, smooth
2. Pour into a heavy saucepan, add the remaining milk, and slowly heat to just below boiling point, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat, cover and cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
3. To serve - Reheat, stirring constantly, then when hot, add the sugar a little at a it becomes too thick: it should have consistency of melted ice cream. Serve hot.
