Albondigas Tapas (Meatballs) HT HD Spanish 20mins
Serves 6 Hot Appetiser Hors d'oeuvre Starter Tapa Spain Europe
Ingredients 350g/12oz Minced Beef 1 teas dried Oregano 125g/5oz Chorizo, minced 1 teaspoon Paprika 2 Eggs, lightly beaten Salt and Black Pepper 60ml/2fl.oz. Brandy 1 teasp Freshly chopped Parsley 1 Garlic Clove, crushed 4 tbsp Plain Flour 120ml/4fl.oz. Olive Oil
Instructions
1. Place all ingredients except flour and oil in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Using floured hands, form the mixture into small balls.
3. Heat the oil in a heavy frying pan until hot.
4. Dip the meatballs in the flour and roll to coat then fry them in the hot oil for about 10 minutes until cooked through and browned on all sides. Serve hot on toothpicks.
