Stuffed Prawn Tapas HT HD Spanish 20mins
Makes 12 Hot Spain Europe Tapa Appetiser Starter Hors d'oeuvre Shellfish Seafood Gluten Wheat Free Eggless
Ingredients 12 tbsp Soft Goat Cheese 1 teasp freshly chopped Parsley 1 teasp freshly chopped Tarragon 1 teasp freshly chopped Chervil 1 teasp freshly chopped Oregano 2 teasp minced Garlic Salt and Pepper 12 large Prawns (shrimp) peeled, tail-on and butterflied 12 thin slices of Proscuitto Ham 2 tbsp Olive Oil White Truffle Oil
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, blend together the cheese, herbs and garlic and season the with salt and pepper. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
2. Press one tablespoon of the filling into the cavity of each prawn then wrap each one tightly with a piece of Proscuitto.
3. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan until hot then add the stuffed prawns and sear for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until the prawns turn pink and their tails curl.
4. To serve - transfer immediately to a large serving platter and drizzle with truffle oil. Serve hot.
