Balsamic Peaches Veg HT

Ingredients 2 tbsp Sugar 150ml/5fl.oz.
Balsamic Vinegar ½
Teasp freshly ground Pepper 2
large Peaches, halved and stoned 1
tbsp Melted Butter 50g/2oz
Gorgonzola Cheese
Instructions 1.
Place the sugar, vinegar and pepper in a small saucepan, bring to the boil, then
reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes until reduced by about 2/3rds, stirring
from time to time. 2.
When almost ready to serve, preheat
the grill to hot and line the grill pan with aluminium foil. 3. Brush the peaches with butter then place them in the grill pan, skin side up and grill for 5 minutes. 4. Turn the peaches over (cut side up) and grill for a further 5 minutes. 5.
Brush the cut sides with half the balsamic mixture then return to the grill for
about 1 minute until the glaze caramelises. 6.
Remove from the grill, , transfer to individual serving plates, drizzle over the
remaining balsamic mixture and crumble the cheese on the top of each peach half.
Serve immediately.
