Liege Waffles Veg HT CD DP CBF Belgian 25mins
Serves 4 Hot Cold Vegetarian Dessert Pudding Baked Fayre Teatime Belgium Europe
Ingredients 2 teasp Baking Powder 1 teasp Ground
Cinnamon 1 tbsp of
Vegetable Oil
1. In a saucepan, warm the butter until almost melted. Preheat a lightly oiled waffle iron.
2. Transfer the butter to a large mixing bowl, add the sugar and mix well.
4. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla sugar and oil and beat until well blended.
5. Pour the dough unto the hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown (about 5 minutes). You may have to cook in batches depending on the size of your waffle iron. Serve hot with jam, syrup or cream or allow to cool.
