Mixed Berry Gratin Veg HT DP 30mins
Serves 4 Hot Vegetarian Fruit Dessert Pudding Gluten Wheat Free
Ingredients 125g/5oz Blackcurrants, washed topped and tailed 125g/5oz Redcurrants, washed, topped and tailed 125g/5oz Raspberries, washed 4 large Egg Yolks 50g/2oz Caster Sugar The grated zest of 1 Orange 210ml/7fl.oz. Crème Fraîche
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 220C, 425F, Gas Mark 7.
2. Place the fruit in a large shallow ovenproof dish. Set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until light and creamy.
3. Add the orange zest and crème fraîche and mix well then pour this mixture over the fruit.
4. Place the dish on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.
