A Weekday Menu Recipe



Nutty Grilled Pears   Veg  HT  DP  25mins


Serves 4   Hot  Vegetarian  Fruit  Spices  Nuts  Dessert  Pudding  Gluten Wheat Free  Eggless



2 large fresh Ripe Pears
4 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 teasp ground Cinnamon
1 tbsp Crushed Walnuts



1. Preheat the grill to medium hot and line the grill pan with aluminium foil. Cut the pears in half lengthways and  remove the core and pips. Place in the lined grill pan , cut sides down and grill for 5-8 minutes.


2. Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl, mix together the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and crushed nuts.


3. Turn the pears over and fill each with the nut mixture.  Return to the grill and continue to cook for a further 5-8 minutes. Serve hot.
