4 Hot Vegetarian Fruit Nuts Dessert Pudding

The seeds from 8
6 Apples, peeled and grated
Up to 150g/+5oz Sugar (according to taste)
2 tbsp Ghee or
100g/4oz Almond Flakes
50g/2oz unsalted Pistachio Nuts, cut into slivers
˝ teasp Ground Cardamom
1. Heat the
ghee in a heavy saucepan, add cardamom seeds and fry these for few minutes,
2. Add the grated
apple and fry over a medium heat for 5-8 minutes until soft and almost tender.
3. Add the sugar and ground cardamom and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring
from time to time, until nearly all the water has evaporated.
4. Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a frying pan add the nuts and sauté
for 3-5 minutes.
5. Add the fried
nuts to the apple mixture and mix well. Serve hot.
