Weekday Menu Recipe

 

 

 

Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar     Veg  CD  DP  10mins plus marinating

 

Serves 4    Cold  Vegetarian  Vegan  Fruit  Dessert Gluten Wheat Dairy free  Eggless

 

Ingredients 

675g/1˝lb Fresh Strawberries, washed but stems in tact

4  tbsp Granulated Sugar

1-2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

 

Instructions

 

1. Hull the strawberries and place in a serving bowl.

 

2. Add the sugar and toss well.  Set aside for up to 1 hour, mixing from time to time so the sugar dissolves and forms a syrup.

 

3. Just before serving, add the balsamic vinegar and mix well.
