Walnut Plum Crumble Recipe Veg HT DP English 40mins
Serves 4 Hot Vegetarian Dessert Pudding Fruit Nuts England British Europe
Ingredients 150ml/5fl.oz. Water 1 tbsp Demerara Sugar The Juice and grated zest of 1 Orange For the Crumble 75g/3oz Butter
Instructions
2. Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, rub the butter into flour with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
3. Stir in sugar and walnuts, mixing well.
4. At the end of the cooking time, transfer the plums to a shallow ovenproof dish and sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the top. Bake for 25 minutes until golden. Serve hot with custard.
