Warm Anise White Chocolate Sauce

Makes approx 540ml/18fl.oz. Hot Cold

100g/4oz Icing Sugar
1 tbsp Pernod
2 whole Star Anise
225g/8oz White Chocolate, grated
120ml/4fl.oz Single Cream
Vanilla Ice Cream to serve
1. Place the sugar, water, Pernod and star anise in a saucepan and bring to a

remove from the heat and leave for 3 minutes.
3. Add the white chocolate, stir until melted then slowly add the cream
and mix well.
Remove the star anise and serve warm over ice cream.
