German Baked Apples Veg HT DP German 35mins Serve 4 Hot Vegetarian Fruit Nuts Dessert Puddings
Ingredients 4 Large Apples 25g/1oz melted Butter 25g/1oz fresh Brown Breadcrumbs 25g/1oz Brown Sugar 75g/3oz Uncooked Almond Paste 25g/1oz Chopped Almonds 25g/1oz Chopped Walnuts 150ml/5 fl.oz. Double Cream
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F,Gas mark 6.
2. Peel and core the apples then brush with butter and roll in the breadcrumbs and sugar.
3. Fill each apple with almond paste and place in individual greased ovenproof dishes. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
4. Top each apple with almonds and walnuts and return to the oven for 5 -10 minutes.
5. To serve - whip the cream and serve with the apples.
