A Weekday Menu Recipe


Tipsy Blackberries     Veg    CD  DP    30mins

Serves 4      Cold  Vegetarian  Fruit  Nuts  Alcohol  Dessert  Eggless  



350g/12oz Fresh Blackberries

3 tbsp Caster Sugar

120ml/4 fl.oz. Cherry Brandy

300ml/10 fl.oz. Double Cream

150ml/5 fl.oz. Single Cream

120ml/4 fl.oz. Advocat Liqueur

25g/1oz Praline, crushed


1. Wash the blackberries and set a few aside for decoration.

2. Place the remainder in a bowl, sprinkle with sugar and pour over the Cherry Brandy. Leave for 20 minutes.

3. Whip the creams together and fold in the soaked blackberries. Pour over the Advocat and sprinkle with praline.

4. To serve - decorate with the reserved blackberries.
