2.2L/4pts White Distilled Vinegar
4 tbsp Blades of Mace
2 tbsp Whole Allspice
2 tbsp Whole Cloves
4 Cinnamon Sticks
4 Dried Red Chilies
2 Bay Leaves
Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to the boil.
Transfer to a large bowl and leave to stand for at least 2 hours.
Strain into bottles and seal with an airtight (non metallic) lid.
good for pickling vegetables for use at Christmas or Easter.
