Ingredients 2.2L/4pts White Distilled Vinegar 4 tbsp Blades of Mace 2 tbsp Whole Allspice 2 tbsp Whole Cloves 4 Cinnamon Sticks 12 Peppercorns 4 Dried Red Chilies 2 Bay Leaves
Instructions
1.
Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to the boil.
2.
Transfer to a large bowl and leave to stand for at least 2 hours.
3. Strain into bottles and seal with an airtight (non metallic) lid.
Especially good for pickling vegetables for use at Christmas or Easter.
