Serves 4 Hot Fish Main Course Gluten Wheat Dairy Free Eggless Goa Asia Asian
1 Onion, finely sliced 450g/1lb
Firm Fish (e.g. Swordfish, Shark, Tuna, Monkfish, Catfish), cut into large chunks 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil 240ml/8fl.oz. Water 2 tbsp Lime Juice For the spice Paste 10 dried Red Chilies 1/2 Onion, Chopped
2. Meanwhile, place the spice paste ingredients (or contents of Spice Pack plus remaining spice paste ingredients) in a food processor and process to a paste, adding a little water if necessary.
3. Add the paste to the browned onion and fry for 1-2 minutes stirring.
4. Add the water and lime juice to the pan, bring to the boil then add the fish and mix well.
5. Reduce the heat, partially cover and cook for about 10 minutes or until the fish is tender. Serve immediately with rice.
