Baked Mussels HT MC 25mins Serves 4 Hot Seafood Shellfish Pork Main Course Gluten wheat Free Eggless

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, gas Mark 5 and butter a shallow wide ovenproof dish.
3. Place the mussels in a large saucepan with a little water, cover and cook for a few minutes, shaking from time to time, until the shells open.
2. Remove the mussels from their shells, discarding any which haven't opened, and place in the buttered dish.
3. Add the salt, pepper and onion, mix well then sprinkle the chopped bacon and cheese over the top. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbling.
