Nut Crusted Halibut HT MC 20mins
Serves 4 Hot Fish Nuts Alcohol Nuts Herbs Main Course Gluten Wheat free
Ingredients 4 x 175g/6oz Halibut Fillets 2 Egg, beaten 175g/6oz Walnuts, finely chopped Salt and Pepper 2 tbsp Olive Oil 300ml/10fl.oz. Double Cream 1 tbsp freshly chopped Tarragon 2 tbsp Dry Marsala Instructions
1. Season the fish with salt and pepper then dip them into the egg and then into the crushed walnuts to coat on all sides.
2. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the fish and sauté for about 3 minutes on each side or until cooked through, turning several times during the cooking.
3. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, bring the cream and tarragon to a simmer and continue to simmer until it reduces and thickens slightly.
4. Add the Marsala and whisk well to incorporate.
5. To serve - transfer the fish to a serving platter and and drizzle the sauce over the fish.
