Seafood Ceviche CD HD MC Peruvian 15mins plus marinating
Serves 4 as a main course or 6 as a starter Cold Fish Appetiser Main Course Gluten Wheat Dairy free Eggless Peru South American South America
Ingredients 450g/1lb raw
seafood e.g. Prawns, Squid, meaty fish Fillets (marlin, tuna, sea bass, snapper)
1. Prepare the seafood:- Prawns - peel, de-vein and wash in cold water. Squid - clean, wash in cold water and cut into thin strips. Fish fillets - clean, wash in cold water and cut into strips.
2. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, add the prawns and squid and poach 30 seconds. Remove from the heat, drain well and cool in iced water. Drain well and dry on kitchen paper.
3. Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix to coat thoroughly. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours before serving, turning several times during marinating.
