Baked Halibut with
4 Hot Fish Fruit Main Course
and Black Pepper
Oranges, peeled and segmented
Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas mark 4 and grease an ovenproof dish.
Arrange the halibut in the ovenproof dish, season with salt and pepper and place
a knob of butter on each piece. Arrange the orange segments on and around the
fish, pour over the milk, cover with greaseproof paper and bake for 20
minutes or until cooked through.
Remove the fish from the oven and pour the cooking liquor into a small jug or
bowl. Keep the fish warm whilst you make the sauce.
In a saucepan, melt the butter then add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.

pour over the sauce and serve immediately.
