Plaice au Gratin HT MC 40mins Serve 4 Hot Fish Main course
Ingredients: Oil for greasing 100g/4oz Mushrooms, peeled and chopped 4 Plaice Fillets Salt and Pepper Juice of 1 Lemon 25g/1oz Fresh White Breadcrumbs 50g/2oz Cheddar, grated Slices of Lemon to Garnish A few whole grilled Mushrooms to garnish Olives to garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas mark 4
2. Grease an ovenproof dish with a little oil, sprinkle with half the chopped mushrooms, then lay the fillets on top folding them in half. Season with salt and pepper, pour the lemon juice over and add the remaining mushrooms.
3. Cover with a layer of breadcrumbs and lastly the cheese. Pour 1 tablespoon of oil over and cover the dish with greaseproof paper. Bake in the centre of the oven for 30 minutes.
4. To serve - Garnish with slices of lemons, olives and mushrooms.
