Prawn Celeste HT MC 15mins
Serve 4 Hot Seafood Shellfish Alcohol Vegetables Herbs Main Course Eggless
Ingredients: 125g/5oz Button Mushrooms 50g/2oz Butter 50g/2oz Plain Flour 300ml/10 fl.oz. Milk 150ml/5 fl.oz. Single Cream Salt and Pepper 175g/6oz Shelled Prawns (Shrimp) 2 teasp Medium Sherry Fresh Chopped Parsley to garnish Croutons to garnish
Instructions
1. Lightly cook the mushrooms in the butter for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
2. Gradually add the milk and cream stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened. Season to taste.
3. Add the prawns and sherry to the sauce and re-heat gently.
4. To serve - sprinkle with the chopped parsley and serve with croutons.
