Savoury Cod Cutlets HT MC 20mins Serve 4 Hot Fish Shellfish Seafood Main Course
Ingredients: 4 Cod Cutlets 50g/2 oz Prawns or Shrimps 100g/4 oz Fresh white Breadcrumbs Salt & Pepper 2 tsp Lemon Juice Flour to coat 2 eggs, beaten Dried Breadcrumbs to coat Deep fat for frying
Instructions
1. Heat the deep fat fryer to 180C, 350F.
2. Wash and dry the cutlets. Mix the prawns, fresh breadcrumbs, seasoning and lemon juice and bind with the eggs. Spread the mixture on one side only of the cutlets.
3. Dip the cutlets in flour, then the egg and roll in the dried breadcrumbs to coat well.
4. Deep fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
