Marinated Sashimi Salmon   CD  HD  MC  Japanese 20mins plus marinating



Serves 4   Cold  Fish  Alcohol  Starter  Main Course   Dairy free  Eggless  Japan  Asia Asian 




2 teasp freshly grated Ginger

1 teasp Brown Sugar

2 tbsp Japanese Soy Sauce

1 Garlic Clove, crushed

120ml/4fl.oz. Sake

4 Spring Onions, finely sliced (green parts only)

450g/1lb Sashimi Salmon, thinly sliced

2 teasp Toasted White Sesame Seeds




1. Please the ginger, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, sake and half the onions in a dish and mix well.


2. Add the salmon and turn to coat well then cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.


3. To serve - transfer the marinated salmon, together with the liquid, to a serving platter and sprinkle with the remaining onion and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
