Sashimi Rolls CD HD MC Japanese 20mins
Makes 18 Cold Fish Vegetables Starter Main Course Free Dairy Free Japan Asia
Ingredients 75g/3oz Cucumber ½ small Red Capsicum (sweet Pepper) 2 Spring Onions (green parts only) 250g/8oz Sashimi Fish (e.g. salmon, tuna, snapper), cut into paper thin slices about 7.5cm/3 inches long x 5cm/2 inches wide 90ml/3fl.oz. Japanese Soy Sauce to serve
Instructions
1. Deseed the capsicum and cucumber and cut into very thin strips about 7.5cm/3 inches long. Cut the Spring onion into thin strips about 7.5cm/3 inches long.
2. Lay a piece of fish on a flat surface and place 2 pieces of each of the vegetable strips width ways at one end. The vegetables should be over hanging each side.
3. Roll the fish around the vegetables and place on a serving platter. Repeat with the remaining fish and vegetable strips.
Serve with the soy sauce in a separate bowl.
