Mediterranean Grilled Sardines HT HD Italian 15mins Serves 4 Hot Fish Herbs Hors d'oeuvre Starter Appetizer Healthy Eating Eggless Gluten Wheat Dairy Free Italy Europe Mediterranean Ingredients: 675g/1½ lb fresh Sardines 2 fresh sprigs Rosemary 3 tbsp Olive oil Salt & Pepper Lemon wedges to garnish Instructions 1. Preheat the grill. 2. Leave the heads on the sardines but slit along the belly and clean thoroughly under cold running water. Pat dry with kitchen paper and arrange on the grill pan. 3. Brush sardines with oil and sprinkle with half the fresh rosemary leaves. Grill for 4-5 minutes until just beginning to brown. 4. Turn the sardines brush with more oil and sprinkle with the rest of the rosemary leaves. Grill for a further 4-5 minutes. Serve immediately.
