Ingredients 675g/1½ lb Granulated Sugar 50g/2 oz Ground Almonds 25g/1 oz Butter 150ml/5fl.oz. Milk
Instructions
1. Melt the butter in saucepan Then stir in the ground almonds, sugar and milk.
2. Bring to the boil, then continue to boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. Remove the pan from the heat and continue to stir for 2 minutes until thickened.
4. Pour into a shallow buttered tin and allow to set. Once cold, cut into squares.
Makes a nice homemade Christmas gift.
