National Allergy Week
18th – 22nd May 2009 is National Allergy week. "A new review from the Global Allergy and Asthma European Network (GA2LEN) says that the growing number of people suffering from allergies is due to changes in European diets over the past 30 years with the consequence that the "free-from" food market has enjoyed sales growth of over 300 per cent in the UK since 2000, according to market analyst Mintel."
As well as straight-forward allergies such as seafood or nut allergies, Eczema, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Celiac Disease are just a few conditions, the symptoms of which can be eased by modifying ones diet.
