Calves Liver with Port HT MC 25mins
Serves 4 Hot Offal Alcohol Dried Fruit Main Course Gluten Wheat free Eggless
Ingredients 3 tbsp Port 2 tbsp Cognac 1 tbsp Sultanas 2 teasp Tomato Puree 50g/2oz Butter 450g/1lb Calves Liver, thinly sliced Salt and Pepper
Instructions
1. Place the port, cognac and sultanas in a small saucepan over a low heat, mix well and simmer very gently for 10 minutes.
2. Heat the butter in a large frying pan, add the liver and sauté for about 2- 3 minutes on each side. Do not overcook.
3. Add the sultana mixture and mix well. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
