Casseroled Liver with Apples HT
4 Hot Offal Pork
1 teasp Dry
2 tbsp Oil
Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1. Preheat the
oven to 180C, 350F, Gas mark 4. Grease an ovenproof casserole.

thin slices and coat with the seasoned flour.
3. Heat the
butter and oil in a frying pan and brown the liver on all sides. Put alternate
layers of liver, apples and onions in the prepared casserole and top with
the bacon rashers.
4. Add the
stock, cover and simmer for 1 hour. Remove the lid and continue to cook
for a further 30 minutes. Serve hot.
