Lambs' Liver Chinese Style HT MC Chinese 30mins Serves 4 Hot Offal Alcohol Vegetables Main course Dairy free Eggless Chi China Asia AsianIngredients 1 tbsp Cornflour 1 tbsp Soy Sauce 1 teasp Ground Ginger 150ml/5 fl.oz. White Wine (check manufacture) 1 teasp Vinegar 3 tbsp Water 2 tbsp Demerara Sugar 450g/1lb Lambs' Liver 2 Carrots, cut into matchsticks 3 Sticks Celery, sliced diagonally 1 Cucumber 3 tbsp Oil 1 Garlic Clove, crushed Salt and Pepper
Instructions 1. Blend together the cornflour, soy sauce and ginger in a bowl. Add the white wine, vinegar, water and sugar and reserve. 2. Cut the liver into 12mm/½inch strips. Peel the cucumber and cut into 2.5cm/1 cubes. 3. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the peeled and crushed garlic, liver, celery and carrots and stir-fry for 8-10 minutes. Stir the reserved sauce mixture and add to pan with the cucumber and seasoning. Stir and simmer for 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
