Liver and Bacon Brochettes H T MC Swiss 20minsServes 4 Hot Offal Pork Herbs Main Course Kebab Gluten Wheat free Eggless Switzerland Europe Ingredients: 450g/1lb Calves Liver Salt and Black pepper 1/4 teasp Dried Sage 8-10 Rashers Streaky Bacon 3 tbsp Unsalted ButterInstructions 1. Cut the slices of liver into 16-20 strips, each about 4cm/1 ½ inches long and 15ml/½ inch thick. Season the strips with freshly ground black pepper and dried sage to taste. 2. Cut bacon slices across in half. Wrap half a slice of bacon around each strip of liver, then thread on to 4 short metal skewers, allowing 4-5 per skewer. 3. Melt the butter in a large frying pan until sizzling hot, add the liver and bacon brochettes to the pan spacing them slightly apart. Cook for 5-7 minutes, turning once. Serve hot.
