Chocolate Christmas Eggnog Recipe  Veg CD  PFC  10mins

 

Serves 4      Cold   Vegetarian  Alcohol  Spices  Party  Christmas Drinks  Cocktails Xmas

 

Ingredients:

3 Large Eggs, separated

75g/3oz Sugar

180ml/6fl.oz. Crème de Cacao

600ml/20fl.oz. Milk

Whipped Cream

Finely Grated Chocolate

Ground Cinnamon

 

Instructions

 

1. Place the egg yolks in a mixing bowl and whisk, gradually adding the sugar until they are pale. 


2. Slowly beat in the liqueur, then add the milk and beat well.


3. To serve - in a bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff then fold them into the eggnog mixture. In another bowl, whip the remaining cream and icing sugar until thick.

 

Pour the eggnog mixture into glasses, top each glass of with whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate and Cinnamon.
